Print Production
  • As Executive Editor for AFM, I implemented design and editorial changes that moved Adventist Frontiers from a 24-page black-and-white publication to a 48-page full-color monthly mission periodical with a circulation of more than twenty-two thousand subscribers.

  • Experienced editor - have edited articles for print for Adventist Frontiers and Adventist Review.
  • Graphic Designer - In addition to editing and managing publications, I have also served as graphic designer for newsletters, magazines, and promotional materials.

Internet Communication
  • Developed a functional, cutting edge online presence for the Adventist Radio Network that enabled global distribution of newscasts from the 2000 General Conference Session.
  • Managed the design and development of afmonline.org that transformed the static site into an effective fund raising and recruiting tool for Adventist Frontier Missions.
  • Implemented a new online giving center for Adventist Frontier Missions that significantly increased unrestricted donations.
  • Developed an online paperless application process for Adventist Frontier Missions that enables the recruiting department to more effectively manage new missionary candidates.
  • Designed and implemented an internal online communication center for Adventist Frontier Missions that includes a searchable policy database, an organizational calendar, news and announcements, and more.

Broadcast Production
  • Able to plan and acquire video footage in remote international locations.
  • Experienced director and editor - I have produced seven broadcast documentaries for Adventist Frontier Missions.

  • Audio producer - I created a package of 28 radio spots for ShareMedia, a consulting firm that produces on-air fundraisers for Christian radio stations. Over 150 stations across America used these spots.

Project Management
  • Planned and executed the annual mission rally for Adventist Frontier Missions.
  • Coordinated the logistics of the KPLW Radio startup, which included supervising the construction of the physical plant, the hiring and training of staff, and the development of a solid station presence in the community which moved KPLW from number eight to number three in the Wenatchee market.
  • Oversaw the planning, production, the training of announcers, and launch of Weekend Praise, a weekend music show which has aired for four years on the Positive Life Radio Network.
  • Produced two to three major listener appreciation concerts a year for KPLW.
  • Coordinated and produced the annual two-day on-air fundraiser for KPLW, an event that generated an average of $90,000.
